The 2001-02 team had nine future hall of famers on the team, a hall of fame coach, and probably a 10th hall of famer if and when Pavel Datsyuk gets inducted.

"After losing the first two games to Vancouver, the Red Wings won 16 of their next 21 games en route to their third Cup win under head coach Scotty Bowman," wrote.

It was the team's third Stanley Cup in seven years after they went back-to-back in 1996-97 and 1997-98.
